The Restaurant 'located in the center of Castiadas, set in an' old building 800 at the end part of the old penal colony.
Since the end of 500 the country was uninhabited for about 350 years because of several epidemics. From 1875 until 1950 there have ruled that hundreds of detainees, restoring a large territory unhealthy, gave birth to a flourishing farm, creating the conditions for the settlement today.
For those who spend their holidays in this area and 'a must make a stop in the old penal colony of Castiadas and taste in our restaurant, located just steps from the same, our culinary specialties.
The restaurant and the old prisons' family and offers a typical Sardinian dishes with simple and creative.
We use local produce and local products such as deli meats and cheeses, artisan breads, meats, fish, vegetables, olive oil and honey. Among the recommended dishes on the menu: the culurgiones of potatoes, malloreddus campidanese, ravioli with sea urchins and fish roe, tagliatelle with pumpkin and shrimp, roast suckling pig, duck with myrtle berries, grilled fish, prawns with citrus fruits, honey sebadas, the dessert spoon.
We also offer excellent pizzas cooked in wood-fired oven to the table that is to take away. The local 'friendly and cozy all' inside, with air-conditioned room and a large covered veranda and tables outdoors.
